Rossmere Forest School - 8th December
We all had a fantastic time at Rossmere Forest School. The children enjoyed making bird feeders, finding sleigh bells for Santa and eating and drinking around the fire. The children met Santa in the Yurt and they received a lovely present.
Our class goldfish, Rio, loves his new tank. The children are having fun watching him settle into his new home.
In Castle Eden class we have been reading the story ‘The Enormous Turnip.’ We got a special parcel of vegetables delivered from the old man in the story. We talked about how we could make good use of the vegetables and decided to make some delicious turnip soup. The children worked hard preparing and cooking the vegetables for the soup. It was delicious!
Our Story afternoon was great fun! We read some of Julia Donaldson’s stories and joined in with lots of activities, including making paper dolls and mixing potions! All of the staff, parents and children had a great time!
Rossmere Park Care Centre - 15th December
The Reception children visited Rossmere Park Care Centre and entertained the residents with their beautiful singing. The children got a lovely surprise when Santa arrived!
