Engage Experience: Trip to Seaton Carew
To start off this topic, Sepia and Wingfield class went to Seaton Carew and had a fantastic time at the beach. While there, we imagined what it would be like to be an Anglo-Saxon invading Britain. We talked about what we could see and how we felt and used the trip to help us with our writing. Once back at school, we imaged that we were Anglo-Saxons and wrote descriptive recounts about the first day we invaded a new country.
