They all had a great time on the ice - it was so lovely to see all the children grow in confidence and help one another over come their initial fears. While there the children also enjoyed a nature walk and a look around the estate.

Ralph Ward Jackson Day
To celebrate Ralph Ward Jackson Day pupils participated in a number of activities around the theme of The Greatest Showman. We were joined by Tom from Shooting Stars Circus Skills who taught us all how to juggle, spin plates and ride balance wheels and Adam joined us to teach us all a dance to the sound track from The Greatest Showman. In classes, pupils participated in baking, singing, craft and lots of fun. ‘The circus has lots of fun things to do! I love it!’ said Lulu. ‘I enjoyed the balancing because it was really fun! We kept on falling over but we had a lovely time’ said Lacey.
We were joined by Rob from the WE Movement who lead a whole school collective worship about their charity work and how we can make a big difference in the world. Blanchland class then spend the day with Rob looking at their community and how they can make a positive impact within it. Doing good feels good!
