Wrap Around Care
In addition to normal school hours, children also have the opportunity to attend breakfast and after school clubs.
During these clubs we aim to provide the children with an opportunity to grow their character by encourage different skills of team work, self-esteem, social skills and critical thinking.
So far this year after school club have:
- Created some amazing crafts such as autumn art using leaves, pointillism paining based on aboriginal art, Christmas decorations using pipe cleaners and paint and cross stitch bookmarks.
- Developed our team work and problem solving while playing games like quick sand, tangle, dodge ball and paper snow balls.
- Enhanced our speaking and listening skills during our sharing time while eating our snacks.
- Learned about looking after our environment by growing vegetables in the school garden and by creating some junk art from recyclable products.
